As we enter the brand-new, box-fresh 2015, this seems like a good time to look back on what I got up to in 2014.  Not enough, as always but I had a pretty good run of TV Promo work for BBC2. Heres my showreel of my favourite work from 2014.

New Work – Drinking Song by Bleak

Wow, I really don’t use the title “new work” very often these days do I? I’d better fix that.

Anyway – heres my Here’s my latest music video for Tottenham’s finest Death-Blues act Bleak for their new single Drinking Song. The song was recorded in 2 takes in the studio with no overdubs so I was challenged to do something in the same spirit so we came up with this idea – shot in a single unbroken take (with only 2 tries to get it right!). http://ow.ly/DL0yo

Are we on the verge of getting all our films, books and music streamed through an elegant slither of technology in the palm of our hand? Or does the physical media format have a future. Miroist – the forward-facing progressive metal artist – has some opinions on it, as he prepares the vinyl release of his debut album. Hear us chew it over on this month’s Pop Culture Radio Show… http://ow.ly/y0ZtX

The podcast for this month’s Radio show with James from progressive metal act Miroist is up on our Podomatic page and our Itunes feed now.

This month on the Pop Culture Radio Show, James from the progressive metal act Miroist joins us to chat about physical media – books, CDs, VHS – and how he feels about their decline in the digital age as he gears up to release his own album on vinyl.
